Dr. Peter Shenkin

Dental Surgeon

GDC No. 45868

Peter grew up in Durham and qualified at Leeds University in 1972. After building up experience in the NHS in London and Yorkshire, he moved to the Island and joined his Sister-in-law to establish a new prattice above the old Le Riche supermarket in Redhouses.

A decade later, Peter decided to venture worldwide; taking his skills to Australia, New Zealand and South Africa prior to returning to work in St. Helier, Jersey. Peter is well-accomplished and highly experienced in all aspects of dentistry. Through years of experience within the community, Peter looks forward to bringing thoughtful care to you and your family.

Dr. Manthan Patel

Dental Surgeon

GDC No. 278726

Dr. Manthan Patel qualified from the Barts and the London and has since worked in multiple NHS and Private practices in the UK, including in North West London and Reading. Having grew up in London, he decided to leave for the beaches of Jersey in 2021.

Manthan has a passion for providing patients with beautiful and natural smiles using the latest techniques available. He is a keen learner and regularly attend courses to master his craft.

He is able to provide all aspects of general dentistry, but is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry, gum treatment and root canal treatment.

Dr. Carla Aleixo

Special interest in Orthodontics

Dr. Carla Aleixo qualified in Lisbon in 2007. Over the years she attended numerous courses to continue her professional development and expertise, especially on her area of interest – Orthodontics – an area that she started performing since 2009.

She now dedicates all of her clinical time to her special interest Orthodontics. She has a vast training in all aspects of orthodontic treatments and is a Full provider of Invisalign™️ for many years now.

Carla dedicates all of her time outside work to her three children and loves travelling. Having lived all her childhood in the Algarve she is a fan of the beach and sun.

Implant & Restorative Dentist

Here to provide life-changing implant options at Dental Excellence, Pedro is available to deliver All-on-4®️ and Teeth-In-A-Day Implants and is a fully certified provider for Nobel BioCare – a leading implant system. He is highly experienced having completed the Advanced Surgical Master Curriculum in Regenerative Implant dentistry and Implant dentistry diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Dr. Vitor Malta

Implant & Restorative Dentist

Vitor is a provider of life-changing implant treatments and is available on referral. Having completed an MSc in Restorative Dentistry and an Implantology diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons, he is highly experienced in all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Dimitrios Tsagkaris

General & Cosmetic Dentist

Dimi has a special interest is in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He attended the BBP University for a Clinical Master Degree in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry and has completed courses in direct & indirect restorations, oral surgery, facial aesthetics, smile design and orthodontics.

Dr. Louise Brownlow

General & Cosmetic Dentist

Louise has a keen interest n restorative and cosmetic dentistry, periodontology (gums) and endodontics (root canals). She has undergone many postgraduate courses in these subjects and particularly likes treating patients who are nervous.

Dr. Anna Fekete

Oral and Maxillofacial Specialist Surgeon

Anna is a dual qualified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon with 10+ years of experience in UK flagship hospitals. In Jersey since 2019, she is working as a senior member in the General Hospital. Anna specialises in complex oral surgery including wisdom teeth removal, reconstructive surgery, bone grafting, dental implants, facial aesthetics, management of facial injuries, facial deformities, oral and skin cancer.

Sedationist’s

Intravenous Sedation

We have a special team of highly-trained seditionists which are available to come in if you require Intravenous Sedation, or ‘Sleep’ or ‘Twilight’ dentistry. They are highly trained and are senior members of the anaesthetics team at Jersey General Hospital.
