A large open area with recessed lighting, wooden flooring and a contemporary reception desk combined with lovely artwork on the walls gives a warm and welcoming feeling.

With the addition of soft furnishings and children’s play area all helps to create a relaxed atmoshphere.

The skylight and large angled window allow an enormous amount of daylight into the surgery giving a light and airy feeling. The lighting is a mixture of suspended ceiling spot lights and fluorescent lighting in the pergola and under the wall units.

All of the units are a light birch wood and are in fact from IKEA.

In a surgery the flooring is of high importance and we have chosen a hard wearing vinyl used in hospitals. The dental equipment is Planmeca, Finland, sterilization equipment by Melag, Germany and we have digital wireless x-ray and intraoral cameras from Schick,USA.

A large south facing window gives maximum daylight and the pale blue colour scheme makes the surgery feel fresh and calm.

This surgery has been designed to cater  for both minor surgical procedures including implants and general dentistry. Again, we show that a modern surgery does not need to be custom built using special dental units (at a substantially higher cost) we have chosen IKEA glass fronted units.

We have therefore invested in the best dental equipment including KaVo cart system, Schick wireless digital x-ray, intraoral camera and a Schick digital OPG. The whole practice and the individual surgeries are networked using the latest computer technology and we operate using the Software of Excellence patient software.
